Joe is a new member of the Salomon UK team for 2012. He is a very keen mountain runner, but occasionally does a bit of cross country and road running as well. In the past he has focussed on the shorter mountain races and the World Mountain Running Championships, but recently he has had some success in multi-day events. He won the LAMM and the OMM in 2010 together with his brother Andrew, and came 2nd in the 2011 Transalpine Run with Jethro Lennox.
Joe was brought up running on the Howgill Fells of the Yorkshire Dales, but he has lived in Scotland since the age of 19. Joe works as a paediatric doctor and currently lives in Inverness.
